Properties: Highly Soluble in benzene, dichloromethane, carbon disulfide, carbon tetrachloride, acetone, ethyl acetate, and ethyl alcohol; soluble in gasoline; insoluble in water.
Uses: An excellent delayed accelerator, showing simialrperformance as CZ with better scorch safety. Widely used in NR, IR, SBR, NBR and EPDM. Can be used alone or with other accelerators such as thiurams, guanidines and dithiocarbamates to improve activity. Mainly used in manufacturing of tires, shoes and belts. Non-blooming.
